Your Dashboard
A complete tour of your QrioTag dashboard — stats, quick actions, recent tags, messages, and the getting started checklist.
Your dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. It gives you a quick overview of everything happening with your QrioTags — how many tags you have, how many scans they have received, whether anything is lost, and if you have any unread messages.
Stats Cards
At the top of your dashboard, four summary cards show you the current state of your account at a glance.
Active Tags
The number of tags currently in ACTIVE status — linked to your account and ready to be scanned.
Total Scans
The total number of times all your tags have been scanned by anyone, ever.
Lost Items
The number of tags you have marked as LOST or STOLEN. Highlighted in amber when greater than zero.
Unread Messages
The number of messages from finders that you have not read yet.
If your Lost Items count is greater than zero, that card is highlighted in a warning color to grab your attention immediately.
The numbers update in real time as your tags are scanned or you receive new messages.
Getting Started Checklist
If you are a new user, you will see a Getting Started checklist on your dashboard. This checklist walks you through the most important first steps:

Each item shows a checkbox — completed steps get a green checkmark, incomplete steps show a link to the relevant page.
The checklist disappears automatically once you complete all four steps. You can also dismiss it manually if you prefer.
Quick Actions
Below the stats cards, three quick action buttons take you straight to the most common tasks.
Activate Tag
Opens the tag activation form where you enter a QrioTag ID to link it to your account.
Report Lost
Takes you to the page where you can mark a tag as lost and notify finders.
Messages
Opens your message inbox to see and reply to finder messages.
Recent Tags
The Recent Tags section shows your most recently activated or updated tags. For each tag you will see:
- Tag name — The name you gave the item (e.g., "Car Keys" or "Max the Dog")
- QrioTag ID — The unique identifier (format:
QRIO-XXXXXXXX) - Status — Current status (ACTIVE, LOST, FOUND, etc.) shown as a colored badge
- Last scanned — When the tag was last scanned, if ever
- Total scans — How many times the tag has been scanned
Click any tag card to open its full detail page. If you have no tags yet, you will see an empty state with buttons to Activate Your First Tag or Browse the Shop.
Recent Messages
The Recent Messages section shows the latest messages from finders. For each message you will see:
- Sender — Usually "Finder" (messages are always anonymous)
- Preview — The first line of the message
- Tag name — Which tag the message is about
- Time — When the message was sent
- Unread indicator — A dot or bold styling for messages you have not read
Click any message to open the full conversation in your message inbox. If you have no messages, you will see an empty state saying "No messages yet."
